대한미용사회중앙회(회장 이선심) OMC 국가 대표선수단은 지난 9월 11일~12일 양일간 프랑스 파리 엑스포에서 개최 된 ‘2022 OMC 헤어월드컵’ 대회에서 우수한 성적으로 종합 2위를 달성하는 쾌거를 이뤄냈다. 이번 대회는 코로나로 인해 지난해까지 비대면 경기로 치러진 이후 3년 만에 대면으로 개최된 만큼 OMC 헤어월드 소속 51개 국가 중에서 많은 선수들이 참가했다. 한국 선수단은 그동안 작품을 연구하고 연습하며 쌓아온 실력을 뽐내며, 처음 대회에 참가하는 새내기 선수들도 큰 무대 위에서 침착하게 자신의 역할을 다했다는 평가를 받았다.
뷰티헬스케어 기반 스타트업인 ㈜링커버스의 박영준 대표는 “사람의 손과 손톱이 바이오마커(생체 표지자)가 될 수 있다는 확신으로 지난 2021년 창업했는데, 이번 임상데이터 분석과 시제품 제작 기술지원이 CES 2023에서 개발된 제품의 가치를 인정받는 데 큰 힘이 됐다”고 밝혔다.
